Sandy Beach Resort
- Heated pool
- Kids' pool
- Pebbly shoreline
- Pool fencing
This family with a baby and a 6-year-old found the kids' pool brilliant for the baby (warm, shallow, well-fenced) but disappointing for the older child: no slides, no shallow-but-deeper zone, and the kids' club was closed in May. Nights are quiet — rooms are far from the bar, both kids asleep by 8 pm. Food is fine but repetitive; they walked 10 minutes into town for dinner variety. Bring reef shoes because the shoreline is pebbly at low tide.

Great for our baby, less so for our 6-year-old. The kids' pool is genuinely brilliant for littles — warm, shallow, well-fenced — but there's nothing for older kids beyond it: no slides, no shallow-but-deeper zone, no kids' club running in shoulder season (we went in May and it was closed). Our eldest got bored by day three. The upside: it's quiet at night — rooms are well away from the bar, so both kids were asleep by 8 and stayed that way. Food's fine but repetitive; we walked 10 minutes into town for dinner variety. Bring reef shoes, the shoreline is pebbly at low tide.
